We had an excellent time with a knowledgeable and experienced captain. He was friendly, accommodating, patient, and kept the conversation fun throughout the trip. Some members of our group were new to fishing, and he clearly explained everything while making everyone feel comfortable. He knows the local waters well and has a great sense of humor. It was a 10/10 experience. We highly recommend Just One Bite Charters and look forward to booking another trip.

We caught fluke, striped bass, and sea bass during our full-day trip. Captain Paul was fun, knowledgeable, and gave my three sons their best fishing experience yet. Thanks again, Paul, for a great day on the water!

Captain Paul was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. His understanding of the local waters helped us find and catch fish more easily. He was also friendly, upbeat, and enjoyable to be around throughout the trip. I would absolutely recommend Captain Paul.

Captain Paul was knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and resourceful. My 13-year-old son and I had a fantastic trip targeting fluke, striped bass, and bluefish. Paul knew the right spots, followed the bite, and secured bait when we needed it most. My son caught his first fluke, including a personal-best 24-inch fish, and enjoyed several strong fights with bluefish. Although the striped bass proved elusive, we still had an unforgettable father-and-son fishing trip. Thanks, Captain Paul!

Captain Paul was excellent and incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters. When he realized our target species was not biting, he quickly switched tactics and put us on the fluke. The fish started coming into the boat, making it a great charter and a memorable day on the water. We are already looking forward to fishing with Just One Bite Charters again in the coming weeks.

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain Paul! The boat may be older, but it’s been recently re-powered and ran great, giving us a smooth and comfortable ride. He worked hard throughout the trip, moving us to four different spots, and each one delivered fish. The standout catch was a 26-inch doormat fluke—definitely one to remember. It’s clear he knows these waters inside and out and is focused on making sure everyone enjoys the trip. Highly recommend booking with Captain Paul for a fun and productive day!

We were searching for a private charter on Long Island for my son and his dad, who uses a wheelchair, and that’s when we found Captain Paul. He reached out right away and shared that he had been working on ways to accommodate wheelchair access, which meant so much to us. Thanks to his effort and care, my son and his dad enjoyed an experience we truly didn’t think would be possible. It’s something we’ll always be thankful for.
